DENSO Launches VehicleMRI, New Website at 2016 AAPEX

DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., a division of leading global automotive supplier DENSO Corp., announced its new vehicle inspection tool, VehicleMRI, at the 2016 Automotive Aftermarket Parts Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, NV. The web-based application, which will be available in 2017, reflects DENSO’s increasing involvement in vehicle diagnostics as the company expands its role as a trusted supplier of top-quality aftermarket products, services and technology.

Developed by EASE Diagnostics, a DENSO affiliate company, VehicleMRI is a precision tool for inspecting and analyzing automotive electronic systems and pinpointing hidden problems beyond typical check-engine-light issues with maximum accuracy. VehicleMRI outperforms conventional Onboard Diagnostics II (OBD2) scanners by running a comprehensive check of all systems, checking for out-of-date system software, testing the vehicle’s battery, evaluating hundreds of key data points in minutes, and generating a complete report that can be viewed online and saved as a downloadable file.

VehicleMRI requires minimal training and equips repair centers and technicians with the detailed information needed to ensure their customers get the best service. The easy-to-use program is web based making it convenient to access the vehicle’s history from almost anywhere.

VehicleMRI is among the company’s pioneering products featured at the DENSO AAPEX 2016 exhibit.  AAPEX is the premier trade show for the $356 billion global aftermarket industry. This year’s three-day event is expected to draw more than 160,000 automotive professionals – retailers, warehouse distributors, jobbers, technicians, buyers, industry leaders and innovators – from more than 140 countries.

New Website

The company has announced major upgrades to DENSOconnect.com that will make the customer service website easier to use, faster and more informative than ever. Due to launch in January 2017, the redesigned website’s enhancements include a simplified single login, multiple account access, improved catalog capability with sharper product photos, more convenient site navigation and customer service for all DENSO light-duty and heavy-duty automotive parts.

DENSOconnect.com’s new features also allow customers to bookmark pages within the site and get faster updates on their accounts.  The new 2.0 platform will also allow us to expand the offering of services under DENSOconnect.com by adding additional modules, the first of these coming in the Spring of 2017.

“We’re thrilled to roll out DENSOconnect.com 2.0 and launch our new website that is easier and more efficient than ever for all our customers,” said Joseph Mejaly, senior vice president of Operations, Sales, Strategic Planning and Marketing for DENSO Products and Services Americas. “Time really is money, and saving our customers both reflects our commitment to quality, reliability and innovation.”

The upgrades will allow DENSO to update product availability faster and make future improvements to its business-to-business e-commerce platform more quickly down the road.
